Dollars, Sense & Public Libraries

Hume Libraries members are enjoying excellent benefits from their local library branches, based on the research outlined in an independent report produced for the State Library of Victoria and Public Libraries Victoria Network.

Hume Libraries, which has branches in Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, Gladstone Park, Tullamarine and Sunbury has a growing membership of 86,000.

The report found for every dollar invested in Hume Libraries, the return for the local community was valued at $6 well above the state average of $3.65.
