Getting Started:

  1. Download the BorrowBox App
  2. Launch the App
  3. Enter 'Hume Libraries'
  4. Enter you library membership number and PIN
  5. Tap 'Sign In' button
  6. Accept terms and conditions
  7. Browse, borrow and start reading!

Getting Started:

  1. Download the cloudLibrary App
  2. Launch the app
  3. Select country and state
  4. Select Hume Libraries
  5. Enter your library membership number and PIN
  6. Accept terms and conditions
  7. Browse, borrow and start reading!

Libby by Overdrive

Getting Started:

  1. Download and launch the Libby App
  2. Tap 'Yes' to 'Do you have a library card?'
  3. Tap 'I'll Search For A Library'
  4. Enter 'Hume' in search box
  5. Tap 'Hume Libraries'
  6. Tap 'Enter Library Account Details'
  7. Enter your library card number and tap 'Next'
  8. Enter your PIN and tap 'Sign In'
  9. Tap 'Rename Card' to name your library card or tap 'Next'
  10. Browse and borrow! Libby has simultaneous loans, so you’ll always find a title you like.

Downloading an eBook to your laptop or PC

  1. Install Adobe Digital Editions onto your computer.
  2. Create an Adobe ID.
  3. Open Adobe Digital Editions and click Help, Authorize computer. Select Adobe ID from the drop-down menu and enter your Adobe ID and password.
  4. Go to the login page for the collection (Bolinda BorrowBox or cloudlLibrary or Libby) and log in using your membership number and PIN.
  5. Follow the online prompts to download and open the eBook file.

Transferring an eBook to an eReader

  1. Download the eBook to your computer.
  2. Attach the eReader to your computer.
  3. Once the device name appears in the list on the left side of Adobe Digital Editions, drag the eBook onto the eReader.
  4. Disconnect the eReader and start reading.

Please note: Library eBooks are not compatible with Kindle devices.
