LibraryLink Victoria

LibraryLink Victoria provides you with a single starting point to search a large range of online library resources including the catalogues of:

  • Victorian Public Libraries
  • State Libraries
  • Victorian University libraries
  • Libraries Australia
  • Selected online databases

You can search for an item that's not in our collection, request it and then pick it up from a Hume Libraries branch of your choice.

How to use LibraryLink Victoria

Before you go ahead, please ensure you have searched the Hume Libraries catalogue before you search LibraryLink Victoria as requests can not be accepted for items we already own or for items that are less than 3 years old.

1. Visit the LibraryLink Victoria website and click on the Sign in tab in the top right hand corner.

2. Your User ID is your Hume Libraries' library card number (located on the back of your card) and the password is your PIN. Select Hume Libraries from the drop-down list as your authentification service.

3. Once you have searched and selected the item you wish to request, click Get It then Submit.

Borrowers have the ability to track the progress of their interlibrary loan requests by logging on to LibraryLink Victoria and clicking My Requests.

Please note: charges may apply if sourced from an academic, State or National Library. This fee must be paid in full at the library branch where the item is to be collected.
