We’re upgrading our Library Management System software! While we make these changes, there will be a slight disruption to online account access.

Online account access will be unavailable Between 5pm on Thursday 20 January and 9am on Thursday 27 January. This means members won’t be able to access their accounts using the online catalogue or the app.

Libraries will remain open throughout this period, and you will still be able to pick up available holds, browse and borrow items from the shelves, as well as use our public computers and printers.

Check out our FAQs below for more information.

Can I still browse the library catalogue?

Yes, our catalogue will still be available to browse, but no new holds will be able to be placed.

What if I have books that are due back?

All loans and available holds will be extended into February, so no items will be due back during this time.

Why are you upgrading the Library Management System software?

The new software will ensure our systems remain up to date and prepare us for exciting changes to our service in the future.

What changes should I expect after the upgrade?

There will be no change to your experience following the upgrades. You’ll be able to use your Hume Libraries account as normal.
