Hume Libraries provides free access to computer, internet and Wi-Fi.

Computers

Free computer and internet access is available on a walk-in and by booking in advance at all our library locations. 

Bookings are not essential however they are recommended if you require access at a specific time. Bookings can be made up to a week in advance either via the online booking form, in the library using the self-booking computers or by asking one of our staff for assistance.  

Each session is for a maximum of two hours. Shorter sessions with a time limit of 15 minutes may also be available at select library locations. If you need more time and depending on availability, you will automatically be offered an option to extend for an additional hour about ten minutes before your session ends.  

Our General Public Internet and Computers' Condition of Use will need to be accepted before using the computer.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available at the Broadmeadows, Craigieburn, Sunbury, Tullamarine and Gladstone Park Community Libraries.

Connecting is simple:

  1. Open your Wi-Fi settings and connect to the HUME_PUBLIC network on your laptop or personal device.
  2. Open a browser and accept the conditions of use.
