Spring school holidays are happening between Monday 19 September to Sunday 2 October 2022. Looking for something fun to do? Make some noise in your local library! We have an exciting program of activities for children and young people to enjoy.
Sing along with Damo! Join us for a music performance featuring songs from Damo’s album ‘Find Your Feet’ as well as classic kids’ favourites. These catchy tunes about having fun, celebrating diversity and being true to yourself will have the whole crowd dancing and singing along. Ages 3-8.
Build and program a dancing robot using our brand-new Lego Spike Prime system. Ages 9+.
Enjoy a family-friendly musical movie at the library. All ages.
Use electrical circuits to make your own musical instrument! Ages 8+.
Make your own musical instrument and make some noise! Ages 5+.
Join us for a fun afternoon of karaoke and sing your favourite songs. Ages 5+.
Get crafty at the library these school holidays. What will you create? Ages 5+.
What will you create at the library? Try macrame weave, crochet squares and more, all supplies provided. Follow one of our tutorials, or try a trend from TikTok, Instagram or wherever you get your inspiration.
You've been locked inside the library, but luckily your handy librarians have left a breakout procedure! Do you have the wits to escape the library?
Let's go gamers! We've got a bunch of tabletop games, classic board games, Playstation and Xbox games for you to play. Bring a gang of friends or meet some new friends at our Gamers Get-Together.
Take your public speaking and social media game to the next level! These workshops lead you through fun, practical strategies to boost your confidence. Connect with other young people who are interested in content creation.
All workshops are for young people aged 15-24 years. The workshops will be held at the Hume Global Learning Centre - Broadmeadows. Light snacks will be provided.
