Temporary changes to access at Broadmeadows Library
Published on 10 April 2024
Refurbishment works are currently taking place on the ground floor of the Hume Global Learning Centre – Broadmeadows (HGLC-B).
These works are part of the HGLC-B refurbishment project which involves creating a new Council Chamber and community spaces including:
- Community lounge and study area with a tea/coffee station
- Bookable meeting rooms for community events, meetings and training
- A new cafe
New flooring will be completed over stages to enable Broadmeadows Library to remain open during the works. There may be noise and odours as a result of this, and there will be changes to access, as outlined below.

- The after-hours returns chute at Broadmeadows Library will be available.
