Youth Photography Competition 2016 Winners

The results are in for the Youth Photography Competition 2016! 

 

Well done to everyone who submitted images and congratulations to the winners and the runners up!

This year's competition attracted over 200 fantastic entries from talented young photographers across Hume City.

Congratulations to all the winners, runners and finalists:

Category 1: Ages 12–14

Winner: Abbas Arab (Splash of yellow) 
Runner-up: Arslaan Malik (No hot ashes)
Other finalists included: Caitlin Young (A view in the palm of your hand), Emily Valeri (Paint), Hassan Elhelou, (Wattle in winter), Kristina Zboril (Contemplating), Kristina Zboril (Raindrops), Olivia Cooley (Bunny in a box), Theresa Hannan (Hidden alleyways of Melbourne), Abbas Arab (The splash).

Category 2: Ages 15–18

Winner: Callum Stuart-Smith (Night under the stars) 
Runner-up: Jasper Cohen-Hunter (Through the crystal ball)
Other finalists included: Ashlee Middling (Truthful), Callum Stuart- Smith (Light up the night), Enes Dede (Professional photographer), Jessica Raunik (Streets of Melbourne), Kerem Gun (The getaway car), Matthieson Pettit (St Kilda Pier), Minindu Gajaman Kankanamge, (Speak the truth, even if your voice shakes), Phillip Tran (A ball up high).
